Here is my entry for this week’s photo challenge, taken in Lisbon a while ago. Hard to believe it was December. I really like this city, and its bridge. If someone tells me to go back there, I will… 😉

Long time since last post! As I said, I’ve had some busy period of time in the past weeks. Now that I’m back at home, I will try to post more often. I’m working on editing and processing almost 400 pictures I took during my visit to Salt Lake City. Hint: look at my twitter feed in my menu… 😉
Here you have a few more pictures taken in Lisbon. These are from Tagus riverside. There is a really long walk from Belen, where you can see the Discoveries Monument, to the harbour just down Alfama, where that gigantic ship was waiting for tourists. Midway in between you can sit and watch the sunset in front of the Praça de Comerço. This was in December, but it didn’t feel like that at all.
I miss Lisbon.
Taken a few years ago, in a really cold winter here in Cambridge. I wouldn’t want to fall into that icy water, although the swans don’t seem to care too much about it…
25th of April bridge in Lisbon, last Sunday.
I went there for a quick family visit, just for the weekend. I lived almost four years in this area , more than twenty years ago. I have many fond memories of this place, and seeing those old streets again brought them back vividly. The weather was great, sunny, a bit chilly at times, but good enough to walk for hours. I also took pictures in Alfama, Alcantara and Cascais. I will post some of them shortly.
