My picture for this Weekly Photo Challenge: Eerie.

I took this one in a bike tunnel near Cambridge, in a place called Stow Qum Quy. I had already a quite eerie picture there (the one in a cemetery), but that was in colour. This one has only a bit of orange coming from the lamp in the ceiling. The rest, is mostly monochromatic. The place is not as frightening as in this picture though. It is usually very busy with bikes and people walking. Although I wouldn’t spend a night there.

My three pictures for Weekly Photo Challenge: Horizon. The first one was taken from a car going to some place in Spain. I wasn’t driving. I used a high shutter speed and long focal lens. This might be the best one that came from that experiment. I liked the undulating horizon. The second one is from here, during some holidays. That day was a bit cloudy and dull, but I found funny those people walking on the horizon line. ¬†And the third picture is another view of this one. That man sat there for hours!

Here are my three pictures for Weekly Photo Challenge: The Sign Says. The first one is where I took my blog’s name. What I find funny about it is all the possible translations to Spanish and different¬†meanings¬†you can find in that short phrase. The huge bull sign is a very¬†typical¬†sight in Spanish roads. It was an advert of a famous alcoholic drink, years ago. Now most of them are in decay, broken and rusty. And the first one, as a picture itself is not very interesting, but what it says, can have also some different meanings… ūüėČ

These are my three pictures for Weekly Photo Challenge: In the Background. The first one was taken in Picadilly Circus, London. Is not unusual to go there any time and watch people dancing or doing some kind of performance. Here the focus of my camera decided to got to the background public instead of the performer, but I like how it looks like if they were judging the movements of the dancer. The second was in Mill Road Fair in Cambridge this year. A dragon walks the street! And the third, is a dark spot in a cemetery in Stow cum Quy. In the background, our future!

For Weekly Photo Challenge: Pattern

DLR is in London, outside¬†Canary Warf underground station. I was there when I went to Greenwich. The banks and company buildings are a change¬†to the usual architecture in the city. It¬†doesn’t¬†feel like London at all. Is more a modern financial district, as you can find in any other big city. R is that station, a view of the¬†crystal¬†ceiling from the mechanical staircase leading outside. It is an impressive underground station.

Flight was taken during a boring flight from UK to Spain. Or maybe it was the other way. I don’t remember. What I do remember is the face of one of the passengers that saw me putting the camera almost in the floor a few times trying to get the correct perspective.

Structure and Kings College are from Cambridge. Both are university buildings but with completely different architectures. This small city has thousands of little details only visible if you point the camera up.

And Campo was taken during a car trip in Spain. I stopped in a petrol station and this landscape grabbed my attention. There are some nice leading lines here.
